Hi there people, i just would like to pick your brains on this.
I am wondering that when LT+3.0 is out will it support truncate discs without getting flagged if you understand me ? I mean will i still have to buy a burner or can i just truncate discs and it will be as safe as it was before all this xgd3 stuff.
Personally im hoping lt+3.0 will save me buying a burner.
Thanks in advance for any info :)

Simple answer, you need a burner for XDG3.
Reason - The CFW for the liteon ihas drives allows the burner to burn to the outter ring of the disc (conventional burners dont use this space) allowing the FULL game to be burnt do the disc.
If you truncate then you wont use this space so not all the game will fit on the disc if the outter ring is needed (ie forza 4)
This will have nothing to do with new drive fw, the size of XDG3 is bigger than conventional burns allow
Best option, dont be a tight arse and buy the correct equipment like the burner needed

Truncate is supported BUT NOT safe. Use this at own risk
