Hey just looking at getting a PCMCIA card with a RS232 adapter to run my inline adpater through the rs232 cable instead of the usb link, usb link is ok for diagnostic but when i recalibrate using it the inline 5 gets red hot and i am worried that i will fry it and the ecm. Just wondering if many ppl are using these adapters out there, i know the rs232 to usb adapters are very hit and miss and im not too keen to go with that, these cards look like a better alternative. just want hear peoples experiences/ problems with them before i lash out and get one.
