Elementary OS

Has anyone yet tried elementary os?
What do you think about it? Is it good as ubuntu?

haven't tried it. It's using gnome as it's window manager and the design is a mac os x ripoff

Looks like Gnome went a long way it really looks kinda like OSX 10.3

I remember Gnome from Red Hat it wasn't that great or fast ...
