I apreciate your sincerity.
For you and also for others I will tel you the truth.
There is only 1 security byte, the first from dump and the programmer must avoid it to read the mcu.
Power the interface with 15v external and try also with Com port reading. Be careful and select correct mcu that means secured one.
Good luck.

Tell us the mask of the mcu and what settings you are using in xprog. I think you may be choosing the wrong maskset.

I dont think sow coz in this type of mc exist sec bytes, but i know coz one day i try to reed this f....g shit, and one day i put one external power and when i ghive reed the prog reedet widawth problem,i dont used adaptor for reed and i dont have adaptor for hc05,but somtimes, becouse the mc68hc05 its after micronas secured in x prog setings, have a litle mistake the hardward and u must to set up 2 or 3 times to stay on yor mc68,first set your divice to reed mc68hc05 and dont put the mcu inside, give a reed and if u have the error on screen,,divice its silent,,after put your mcu and give reed, the x prog soft have a problem inside, you must to set more times to your mchc05,to all eeprom worck ok,just with 68hc05 make this trik

I think that this type of mcu clears eep when wrong sec byte is inserted.
Whats out mon ami.

Only Hc05X16, x32 secured clear eep if programmer cant avoi the secure byte.
Try to understand that this mcu dont need to insert any sequence of security bytes.

Xprog-m HC05 adapter for PLCC (P/C:1-002-004) doesn't support HC05H12 and I don't think this MCU has EEPROM security feature implimented. So the only way is to read it in circuit as normal.

Then our friend cant read it because he dosent have UPA. I dont think xprog read it incircuit.

Have you managed to read it yet? it should be easy now you have found out the correct mask. If not I can get you code from serial number.

if this mcu is secured when you put it in bootmode sure will be erased.

Is this (http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/f176/grundig-sc-303-d-201861/) the radio you are trying to decode? I dont have that serial in my database. Your dump looks ok and code from your dump is 1448. Once you have put code in with keys 1,2,3,4 hold the AS button to enter.
