The shop down the road brought this car to me after they put the engine together.

Problem number one.

The ecu wont speak to my machine (it allows me comms with chassi as well as body controle units)

Problem number two.

Wont turn over from the key (cranks fine if I bridge the starter)

Problem number three.

I don?t have pinouts on this ecu! :banghead:

I would really appreciate a ecu wiring diagram or if someone has seen this before ... any advice?

this sounds like some dumb fcuk has either blown the engine ecu - or somekind of multiplug is in the wrong hole or not fully clothed.

check for a blown fuse - if you find all fuses ok - you can always pop a fuse across the battery - see if that helps.

Looks like meathead is on the right track, isn?t he??

Does the dashboardlights come on or is it completely zero?

As I?m not at home I only guess, hoping memory serves me well: I "think" pin 15 from ecu goes to pin 7 of aerial and then 6 out of aerial goes to 7 of DLC (k-line). Caution, this is for latinamerica, maybe different in your case or CAN anyway. But then, you should be able to find the wiring in Opel Tis or even in Tolerance Data.
