View Full Version : SPLITTING INCOMING SIGNALS FOR EUROVOX

HI EVERYBODY I AM HAVING A PROBLEM WITH PICTURE BREAK UP AFTER I SPLIT THE INCOMING CABLE TO FEED 2 BOXES I HAVE TRIED AN AMP WITH VARIABLE GAIN (O-14DB) AND I THINK WHEN I TURN THE SIGNAL UP TO SUIT THE FURTHEST BOX (LONG CABLE RUN) THE NEAR ONE BREAKS UP (VERY SHORT CABLE RUN) THINK IT IS TOO STRONG. THE FARTHEST ONE SHOWS 80-83% SIGNAL WHICH I THINK IS OK BUT THE OTHER ONE WONT PLAY THANKS IN ADVANCE STEVE

There are issues with the Eurovox Max V & the 5000 signal breaking up despite a Eurovox 1 and 2 having a perfect pricure on the same feed since the new firmware came out - is this sounding familiar ?

HI I DONT KNOW ABOUT THEM BREAKING UP BEFORE COS I HAVE ONLY JUST SPLIT THE SIGNAL ITS A PVR5000 AND A MAX V 2008 I AM USING IF I PUT THE SIGNAL TO EITHER ONE ALONE ITS PERFECT I AM BAFFLED THINKING OF PUTTING A VARIABLE ATTENUATOR ON THE SHORT RUN ONE CHEERS STE

Can any 1 tell me please what are the advanges of having a CABLE TV BOOSTER AMPLIFIER NTL/VIRGIN STARVIEW EUROVOX would it boost my tv signals and would my internet go faster

Yes it should improve your signal strength for your receiver and NO it wont speed up your Internet speed.

Yes Rusty,same here.
eurovox 2 has good picture on extension.but max v needs signal
booster to view.
