What is involved and what tools is best to use in mileage correction in 09 Audi A4 ?
What holds the mileage in the car except dash ?

hi 8, mileage is stored both in PCM and BCM
There is a vag km+immo tool, you can use it to change mileage for your car, but additionally you need to get A4 authorization for this tool:ridinghorse:

try vag prog with smelecom. is very good

So both tools will change the mileage with all mileage locations or just the dash ?


I need to do it the right way so dealer wont find out.

if it diesel , then is EDC17, till now, no one can do this
but its the strange, becouse i was do this cars, and they go to dealer
and not have problem with garanty, all is was diesel edc17

vagprog is good with dash but can not do DSG (gearbox) untill now.

VagProg dosent do DSG? Do you mean it dosent set it to exact km, or it dosent even reset to 0 like other tools?

my car its 2.O TFSI so only dash needs to be done right

vagprog can do the mileage only in cluster as there is no option to do the DSG in ne of the smele tools like enigmatool is having
