Hi, does anyone know if ford made some connect vans WITHOUT remote locking function?

I tried to link a fob to one today with no joy, but customer said he never had one???

I have seen this happen on fiesta 2001> models as well.

Not sure , but in dealer they told that key with blue tag with remote and with red without, or something like this.

I know that fiesta and focus can come without remote, but Im not sure about connect?

How did you cycle the keys? 0 to pos. II within 10 seconds? btw you wont hear the bong on these,doors just lock and unlock,then you are ready to go.

PS.some leave factory with no fob function!.

yeh, i cycled key 8 times within 10 seconds, but no response from door locks, so looks like this is a boggo modle..

find centrall locking module
check on sticker
if ther is freq like 443 or somthing
its remote

they did make em without remote locking , i think unit is normally behind pass glovebox area , if it hasnt got 1 u can buy it and plug it in as all wirings there .

It has a central locking unit, but not a remote one, just thought that ford would have fitted remote system to all!
