Hi Bp
how do i correct a check sum in a modified file against an original ?
maybe the software is set incorrectly because files are not changing even though i hit the save button before exporting back to file.
Im sure it's user error :)

look at the bottom of the screen, there is 3 icons....they will be green on a original.when you alter a map the icon will go red,and it will ask you if you want to correct the chk,if you press yes the icon changes to green.....(green good----checksum ok)

Thanks pablo1971 & BP
Got it guys..
1: Load original
2: Import changed file
3: Allow check correction
4: Export file back to import folder on PC.

but remember, depending on witch tool you use....mpps will correct checksum on EDC16.....so no need for winols to correct on that....

Dont let the flasher correct checksum EVER. Always correct checksums before if you can

oh right.,i always let the tool correct it when ive done a edc16...
so what you are saying is,its safe to let winols correct, and then flash.
