ok guys,my cursor has decided its grown up and decide to do its own thing,jumpin all over the place,other than throw the lappy off a wall i will try the boffins in here as they are the best any help will be much appreciated as the better half is doing ma nut in....cheers :bawling:

erm... try an actual mouse rather than touchpad.
if the mouse works, d/l touchpad drivers and re-install them.
run virus scan
finalyl re-install windows if none of the above works
