Hi,

I got this E70 X5 in with complete dash failure, no gauges, lights, display etc.

I repaired the dash and everything works perfectly but I have a problem with the CBS.

It says that the pollen filter (microfilter) service is overdue, should have been replaced in 2001 or in 2,500 Miles. It also says it needs the transmission oil & particle filter need to be replaced in 2,500 Miles.

I can reset all the service items but these three when reset manually go back to their original values of 2,500 miles & 01/2001. I have tried resetting it with various diagnostic equipment including GT1 but they all fail. I have driven the car over 40 miles but made no difference.

The mileage is correct & correct VIN is in the dash.

Has anyone seen anything like this before?
Thanks in advance,
Ronan

Was thinking about trying a dump.

I can see the VIN, thats not a problem to change.

Anyone have a dump?

Part Number is 62.11-9 170 270. It's a 3.0 Diesel, Auto.

Thanks in advance,
Ronan
