I need read MCU 2J74Y in LAGUNA II DASH.
I secolder mcu of pcb, connect from xprom, power xprog with 9V, type byte securit F9F1F9F4F9F7F9FA.
Don't read : device silent timeout error.

I need connect a oscillator?

But I put one to test 8MH, I modif frequency in soft to 16 at 8, but don't work

Never tried, UPA supports full meory read/write but only to 908AZ60/AS60.

You need SS both UPA and Xprog. One more time saying to the HC908 SS, needing SS is the later matter. All correct connections/pin setting will always read but if full of AD or 18 then it's the time to enter a correct SS.

UPA connection is in the Help.

X-tal pin 58,59 Why no Help in UPA?, go to Help>content, diagram 3.7.1 (ver. 2005-2011). But most important is with resistor 10 Mohm across the pins.

Put a 10 Mohm across the X-tal pins. You're more smart to work off circuit without any board! If reading off circuit is of your favolite something similar to in the photo may be helpful but I bet more simply is by in circuit.

I put mcu in pcb again, I lift all pin (except pin Vss) and I can read all memory (with SS).
I put new mcu, but I can't write. "1 error found..."

only etl 908 programmer work.i fix 2 dash.desolder mcu and read it only eith etl eprom and flash and if it is not work the old dash the memory from 908 it is not good not work and on new mcu.find another good eprom and flash from another same dash or i can send you one.and only etl 908 not xprog or upa i have try for 2 months .
