Hi there all. I have problem with Zafira A with X18XE1 engine. The problem is that the car does not rev up. It`starts immediatly from cold and from the actual values i see that the ecu does not open the injectors. On Idle they stay open for 1.25ms (shoud be arround 2.5';3.00ms), and the o2 sensor shows constantly 4800mV even when the sensor is disconnected. So i thought the problem is with the ECU. I get the ECU second hand but when i put it the chech lamp start flicker and the engine i`s not possible to start( y know why). So i have OP-com, Opel Scanner what else i need to run the new(second handed) ECU to try the car?
Thank You in advance for cooperation.

You need the immobox (from around the igition barrel) from the car the secondhand ecu is from. Read pin from tms370 inside it then you can reset secondhand ecu with opcom and program it to your car (you will also need to read pin from you original immobox if you dont know it).

Thank you guys but i`m a quite a bit new in ecu programing and pin readind.
First of all i have only the ECU (second hand ) they don`t have the Immobox. And second hoq can i read the pin code from old ECU and how can i get security code?
Can i do it with Galleto?

I dont think galletto can do it.
Option 2 is to find the VIN number in the used ecu (opcom can do this) then order a carpass from the dealer. You will also need a carpass for your car aswell.
Option 3 is to try and fix original ecu (using instructions from DK) or send it off to someone who can repair it if your not comfortable to try yourself, then you wont need to program anything.

So Thank You for advices but anyway, what is the right procedure in case like mine to fix the problem with ecu replacing? I mean what kind of tester. If the Dump file is readed ? What is the procedure. I would like to know it if it`s possible.
Thank you in advance.

So as i understand i have to make the new computer virgin, to read the PIN code from original ECU of the car and to find the security code somehow(maybe thru local opel dealer).
I have another question (maybe stuppid for most of you but important for me) If i read the memory inside the EEPROM with some program the file type will be *.BIN. How to open and read what is inside this file.
Thank You and pls take my appologize for my English

In order to read eeprom you have to use a programmer.
The software that programmer uses can help you read all .BIN files that you want.
Since you are not familiar with this you will find nothing usefull in this .BIN file even if you read it.

hi mate,
this car is with titanium O2 sensor, it's means 4,8V lean mixure 1,0V reach mixure i am not sure what should be when is disconected but i think this is normal. (o2 sensor shows constantly 4800mV even when the sensor is disconnected)
I have changed ECU of opel vectra B wit similar motor, and i only hit boton "change ecu" or "reprogram ecu" not sure what was exactly.
Try this
OP COM
engine
x18xe1
special function
reprogram ecu :)
it is pissible to be in the immo ecu and i think you don't nieed pin code
here some guide if you have pin code
P.S. write your VIN and i will chek for vin to pin

When you intended to buy used engine or Immobiliser ECU, make sure that either
- you will get a valid security key, or Car Pass with the used unit, or
- the used parts were correctly set back (resetted)

you can use opcom ,
1- read vin from the used ecu,
2-contact the dealer to know the pin code of the used ecu.
3-reset the used ecu by op-com
4- reprogramme the used ecu with the original pin code of the car .
good luck

Check the air mass meter ground (yellow wire,pin3), or mass meter is dead

Good evening. So here is the situation with the vehicle today i put the old ECM and on the ECM info is written the following WIN: W0L0TGF75Y2298569,while using the Op-com scanner. When i access in the Immobilizer and hit Special functions i can read VIN:41026HF75Y2298569.and Mechanical key number S1906.
Then i put the new(second hand)ECM, which is exactly the same BOSCH and GM number and in ECU info i read the following WIN:W0L0TGF75X2292912.I believe that this is the WIN from the second hand ECU`s car (smashed car, crashed car).
So what i read and understand till here is that i need security code to can enable the "Special Function" in OP-COM in Immobilizer and hit the Reset ECU button. OK but Which WIN or VIN i nead on my car or donnor car?
Can someone assist me with this security code something like "from VIN to PIN"
THANK YOU IN ADVANCE
BG
P.S Sorry for my English!

good evening to all. Please help about this stupid Zafira.
Today i take two passes from my local Opel dealer. So let`s make it clear i have only one second hand ECU. When i access into the Immo of the car i can enter only the original car pass the other from the second hand ECU is not valid for this Immo. So i`ve installed the "new" ECU and through the immo i hit Reset ECU, but it replay that this is not correct security code. So pls help how to do this how to adapd this second hand non reseted ECU?
Thank you.

Put original ecu into car and reset ecu and immo with original pin.
now put secondhand ecu into car and tell it you have replaced immo and put in secondhand pin.
once it has programmed reset immo and ecu again using secondhand pin.
now tell it you have replaced both immo and ecu and program it with original pin. (you may need to put new transponder chips into the keys before you can program them to the immobiliser)

Reset your immobiliser unit with cars original security code ,switch ignition off 30 secs., Ignition on then you will be able to enter replacement ecu security code to reset unit.
Igntion off 30 secs, then in immobiliser unit choose " replaced immo and ecu" enter your vehicles security code and your done m8
