Tring Sport HD [Sitemap]

I Haven't seen a thread on here so I thought I'd put one up..

Tring were testing their HD sports channel. Looks like it's going to be a Barclays Premier League channel. Although LJ's is listing it as Tring Sport HD. Some people have said quality wise it's like inbetween SD & HD but I need to see for myself.

Tring Digital frequency: 11345 H 27500 5/6 DVB-S

Channels: Telesport, Tring Fantasy, MTV Europe, Disney XD, Barclays Premier League HD Channel, RTV Popullore, RTV 21 Plus, RTV 21 Junior, X Tring 2

I will be having a look tomorrow for the Liverpool v Newcastle game.

Was very good quality but not full hd.

Yes, was good quality with the occasional pixilation but overall, very pleased.
English commentary aswell & i think it was Sky's commentary.

At the moment they have MTV on that channel & not in HD, but we'll see tonight if it goes back to football & HD again.

I have also seen talk of it becoming the Premier League HD channel, however, if that happened, be prepared the blank 3pm Saturday's as per the other PL HD channels (see Viasat).

Satellite BG on 23.5 East were meant to be getting the PL HD channel by the end of November but that did not happen.
Perhaps they knew 3pm's would be blocked maybe & then pulled out of the deal.

I've only started to get tring lately, and i must say, i couldnt believe how good it was, i know the pic isnt the best, i know its not the likes of Nova SD or anything like that, but it is VERY watchable, and you get about 4 games a week, so its not bad.

The news of the HD channel is great and if it is a premierleague channel thats even better.

Sport TV Liga Inglesa is basically Premier League HD Channel and they still broadcast 1 or 2 games each Saturday.

Well, no Tring HD tonight, still showing MTV in sd on their test channel.

Liverpool v The Toon was on LJ's as being on there, but it remained as MTV. I watched on Liga Inglesa on 30W.

Utd v Blackburn is being shown at 1080i on Tring HD Test channel today though...Happy days
