i try it as the carprog say (via diag line) but it does not work also I try to read it via "read/write eeprom" it read it but I dont like the dump so I did it with TU 100% sure (I have done before with TU and with UPA also).

Yes, the genuine one reads the Corsa hc08 no problem.

Swap to the clone and the error mesage comes up. Suspect its my particular clone.

You can alter the addres it starts to read from and the length it reads.
So you have to know what values to put in. This is from the MCU option.

There are preset values entered in the specific sections.

So for example you can read a corsa airbag from MCU or from the opel airbag.

It will do it if you pish the right buttons.

i have the same one. seems it dont needs any mods, not sure about counter, cause mine dont counts yet. At first it was reading all eeproms (including 24c) without additional power suplay, I dont know why, but i just tried ground mod and cp just stops working, usb not recognises it. after couple days connect again and it works again, but not reads 24c without power suplay... with power all ok. also try to change 4x 74HC125, but after change it dont reads any eeproms at all, so solder back old ones and working ok. so decided dont do anymore any mods to it.

Yep had a similiar situation with an old (2004) scudo. None of my main tools would do it, plugged in the carprog via the dashplug and job done, carprog paid for :top:

I also have original carprog and NEVER read me a 24cxx eep...I thought that was a factory default...

You can replace a diode on carprog and then you will read 24cxx on usb power. This diode causes too much of a voltage drop. That's why it won't read. You need a diode with a lower voltage drop. I've posted about this before, you have to search a little.

From the first day mine clone read and write 24c16 incirquit just on usb. Later I connect grounds in interface, like on someones pic, but no changes. All component numbers in my CP erased :(

CarProg clone, section DashBoard, Audi/ A3 Can 2004 by OBD2 (of course) Read mileage buy no change. No read correctly the VIN. The data, Part number, Type, Coding and SW, the reading is correct.
Checking with power and software version 3.75, 4.01 and 4.85.

CarProg all versions incorrectly works for Blaupunkt SPI EEPROM 25160, 95320, 95640. To be more accurate in all numbers of the code changes the numbers 8 and 9.
I have version 4.85, 4.86 does not work for code definitions in car Blaupunkt with SPI EEPROM.
Does anyone have a higher version 4.50 and lower 4.85. These were?

I also checked A1 adapter and the black wire in the plug was not connected(which goes to pin 7 k line), Anyone think its just A1 adapter thats shot?? had my cp in car boot for a week, today try to use, looks completely dead... when connecting usb, green light comes on, but no communication at all. take out pcb, found slightly wet inside (rainy days, very wet weather). Make it worm with hot air an cp comes to life. So lads, keep that joke in dry place :)

Carprog is realy annoying on this one. The dump in car prog is halved. A 93c66 dump is duplicated when read with an eeprom reader. Only half is displayed in carprog so when you import dump its too long. Then when you proceed it falls over ( carprog that is. )
Also when you power up the uch the dump is moded in the micro controller so then when read again its not quite the same.
There are 3 variations on the algo codes and carprog only does 2 of them well.
I always work in 8 bit mode on this one.

Today I did a 2006 Audi A4 RB8 diagnosticly no problem... Well one small problem. When corrected the mileage it read in km... Clicked miles which read same as dash (roughly).. changed it and it used desied miles as km... So had to redo it using desired km instead of miles.

When try to run it on any virtual system, different win versions always have message box with "dot". Does not matter if interface connected or not. And only happens with versions above 4.01. On "normal" windows all versions works great.

It's not with carprog file. It's VMWARE conf file. Find where you have your "Virtual machines" folder, then "virtual machine name" folder and there will be "virtual machine name".VMX

Open it with any text editor and add above setting to the end of file.

Run VM and carprog should work fine. :smokin:

If your Carprog is a clone then the Lib. file is on the CD that came with it.
If your Carprog is a genuine one then the Lib. file is obtained by downloading the software from the CARPROG site. The 2 methods are not compatible.

I tried with K + CAN v1.4 but the communication with the ECU is a CAN and not K. I do not see the option to read the ECU memory in order to change mileage.

Was using 4.85 on clone to do airbag from pug 207... Read and write ok but didn't change anything... But went back to 4.01 and dropped another use but read changed and wrote.. haven't tried it out yet though...

Tried friends clone carprog today on bosch m1.5.5 from corsa c with my bench rig. No extra power supply needed on my friends clone.

Read security code perfectly.

Ok, and how make a syncronitation? I have Opcom, but don't find in this model how to make the sync.
I reset ecu with carprog, try to start the car and works. But I read that ECU reseted can start 10 times without immo sync, and I don't know if all is correct now or not.

I had that Ford Connect 2010, again in my garage.

I think I still need some mods to my board.
Already changed: 4 74hc125M, did GND fix, Ford cable fixed.

A1 with ford cable - no connection (CAN tries 3 times)

A1 - CAN connects, but error on bootloader

I tried with just A1 cable (with ext power and without).
After about 20 tries it read miles. Now I starts to write new numbers but of course "read error" after boot init. After another hour of clicking write it connects and write OK.

What is wrong with this board?

Because of Vectra C not have K-line in diagnostic connector. Carprog not work on CAN.
You can read on the bench via K-line or connect Pin6 (brown-white) wire on the car connector.

Think your gonna need to reflash the mcu... Plenty of guides on here to tell you how and what's needed

Recieved my clone yesterday so thought I'd play and tested on 93c 24c m35080 and all read good. Tested on Ford Fiesta 2007 1.4Tdci and just got 3 CAN attempts then fail. I tried this around 20 times as I've read in past posts to keep trying. Then I tried to power it from 12V aswell for a few attempts but still no joy. I also tried dissconecting the battery as stated in the software advice. I read on one post that its best not to use the extra Ford lead so this morning I tried without. It went to one CAN atempt then bootloader message and then failure again. Went to try again and same thing but dash went blank and hazzard lights flashing and car wouldnt crank. Not overly worried as its a family car and I have its 9s12 dump saved before I started. I took the battery lead off for 20mins though and all is now ok though. My question is have I done anything obviously wrong? And the software does say disconnect battery if comms failure but the hazzards and blank display are a little worrying or is it normal? I dont want to write the tool off just yet as many people seem to read Fords ok and I was hoping to use it on some Mondeos that are regular customers. I would always take dump first for backup but if the car keeps coming back it would be handy in future to go OBD.

X10XE has no security code stored in ecu, only synch data to immo, .

As its OPEL IMMO 1 system. security codes where stored in ecu from OPEL IMMO 2 system.
