how to read eeprom RH56

Hi guys, I am trying to read eeprom rh56 which is in prius transmission ecu for immo. Can anyone tell me what this chip is and if it can be re written.

Hi MrMike this is 93c56 but may be rotated pins pay atention

Ok I will give it a try and report back. Is there a way to tell if the pin configuration is not normal or just with trial and error? Thanks a lot.

Look at the PCB pads. The standard chip has GND on pin 5, rotated one is on pin 7.

Look at the PCB. 6 and 7 pin unused!!!
Disconnect 6 and 7 pins in programmer panel. Write OK.

Do you happen to have the virgin eprom for the prius transmission controller?
