2003 ford focus key programming

hi all
have a ford focus 2003 model
and only have one key
would liek to add another one
i have a t300 and a ford ids unit
i read on here an sbb unit can do it
and also read on here about a 2006 focus
u need in and out code and the t300
i would like to buy an sbb so is that easiest way to get a 2nd key working

can i use ford ids to get inoutcode
i did have software form here that helps with inoutcode
for the t300 but lost if when i lost my hardrive so will have to find it again

You can do it with IDS. Post your OUTCODE to forum or PM to me and I calculate incode for you.

just clone the exsisting key, the TPX Chips fit perfectly in the focus remote keys and then its just a manual procedure to program the remote part in, very simple job, can make a spare key in 10 minutes

i also have just one key which im sure is the spare
ive read somewhere where u need master and spare or even 2 spares to add another key when using ids
is this true
if so illl just clone them i guess

the key for a 2003 focus is different to a 2003 fiesta , the fiesta uses an ID63 carbon chip and the focus uses an ID60 4d chip , focus didnt use id63 chip till 2005 .

although a fiesta remote will code into the focus it will not hold a glass 4d chip required for the focus as cut out for a carbon chip.

there is no master key with this system , it is the 2 original keys that allow you to add more keys , in deleting all keys and adding 2 keys to system makes this the 2 original and will allow this facility a clone key will not.

as for incode outcode , this isnt needed on 2003 focus , this still uses the old 10 minute countdown , unless using a device that bypasses this , T300 should do this one if correct chip is being used , for the 2003 focus this is a 4d ID60 glass chip

all these remotes look the same , but if a 2003 focus then you want one that holds a glass chip and not the 2003 fiesta remote that holds a carbon chip as you will need to modify it

if using the older T17 id63 chip most original kit like AD900 and zedbull original will clone these to a TPX2 chip.

if using the new 80 bit or the combined older chip and 80 bit chip in one , then this will not clone yet

though why clone when far cheaper to program through the car , original zedbull and obd lead does this in seconds and chip cost is fraction of a tpx chip .

i ordered this key from the uk

as key i got has light blue colour piece at the top
and thru this ebay site they said u have dark blue or light blue or red so my key is light blue and says its for focus 1998 onwards

since i only have one orig key i guess i use the t300 to delete all keys and add it back again and then add the new key

or do i just use the t300 to add new key without deleting
the original

yes i will prob try the ids
now the only prob is the keys have come from the uk
and have a nice sky blue colour tab on the top

i just checked the signle factory car key i got and it looks abit more of a darker blue
wonder if ill have issues

well i got 2 keys from place int he uk
mayeb they had same coded chip inside because i programmed one and then the other worked straight away so it was easy

t300 asked for either genuine ford in out code
or the t300 ad100 in out code

so i went to the ford jag in out code website and used the code from there and it worked perfectly

i then went into the t300 in out code section and it had a 12 digit outcode

i dont have the 12 digit in out code calculator
is there a program out for that i do i have to buy icc
its probably cheaper to buy the ford mazda in out calculator device
