The game tries to update the Firmware automatically. The screen goes blank and nothing happens. Has someone solved this problem yet?
Thanks

Welcome to the forum.

The game tries to update the Firmware automatically.

You don't say which Wii version your using?

Do you have PriiLoader installed to block online and disc updates?

Hi all,

does anyone know anything more about this ? if Priiloader is on the Wii, does it solve this problem or will it work at all ?

any info would be appreciated as the kids want this game but i don't want to shell out for the starter pack if it wont work !

thanks in advance,

Not sure if this is the same issue, but I'm experiencing a problem that Skylanders does not identify the wireless dongle.

Any ideas how to solve this?
thanks.

I think you need to run the latest Hermes 222 to get the game to recognize the portal or the most recent D2X file.

I am having the same issue and have changed my Ios to 222 in the game options but when I run it, it says my 222 is a stub.

I have to figure out how to unstub this... somehow...

Welcome to DK.

If 222 was stub the someone didn't softmod it correctly before. What you need to do is post a sysCheck (http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/downloads/wii/16/syscheck-beta18-zip-2360/) as instructed in that link so we can see which wads you installed as there may be others missing.

Awesome Keithuk!. Thanks for the welcome and the reply.

I'm in the process of downloading the latest syscheck and running it. I'll post back the results and hopefully find a way to remove the stub.

Thanks again!
