I Im using a norm zone 1 dish the wind last night as nocked me of signal, I'm thinking of renewing to a 60cm zone 2, was thinking of motorised but to complicated, plus the extra subs, if I change to zone 2 will I benefit better than the smaller zone 1 or no diffrence ? I'm after setanta Ireland, and Ireland is a zone 2 dish, well it's what I've read, can anyone give me any advice pls

I'm suppose to have setanta Ireland on my sub, but not there, is this because my dish was 40cm zone 1 ?
Help would be appreciated

it should increase signal strength to dm. My snr went up by around 15% with 60cm dish

What box are you using?

What signal levels you getting.

You can get some channels and not toehrs depending on how much of a signal you get, even a few mm out can make a difference

I think its recommended to have the L shaped pole pointing down, rather than up as its less likely to move dish in strong winds. someone more knowledgeable about installation might confirm this. You can also use the existing plate with the 4 bolts in. I tried to remove my plate to put the shiny new one on, resulting in 2 of the bolts shearing and then having to drill 4 new holes.
this might help also

yeah it will be fine in just 1 room just seal off the outlets you dont use to stop water getting in.
