House Alarm systems?

I am thinking of getting a digital alarm system at my house.

Can anybody recommend me any good ones?

What should I be looking out for when purchasing them?

get a brand that will notify a control centre, not just a noise maker as these just annoy people rather than making them call the police

get a jack russell. nothing makes noise like a jack russell.

Before your purchse inspect your hose - just check to see if the doors/windows are analoge or digital. lol lol

I am also looking for a system checked ADT site its ?99 plus you pay ?20.99 a month for 3yrs they just call you if alarm goes off and not inform police at that price

hi mate i bought this system
you can put a mobile sim card in it and when the alarm goes off it rings or texts your mobile or any other number ya might have prestored in it
its a ll wireless and ya can install it by yourself by following there youtube videos

it has a backup battery if power goes
it works of the mobile network so they cant cut the phone line
its wireless so no wires needed just need power for outdoor alarm and main unit
can set different zones so you can lock all the windows and doors when inside the house
and when your away you can also turn on the motion sensors

How much are you looking to spend and I can desing system for you.. yes notifications via GSM and Internet is way to go.

How many rooms do you have pets ?
Do you need sensors on outside.

There is a lot to consider and you get what you pay for.

Will you do the install yourself ?
Wired or Wireless ?
CCTV as well ?
