Read loads but still can?t get my head around this.
I have a DM500s and a tm2600 Diseqc motor ? 90 cm dish
After a few lead problems & port probs, managed to flash the box with a Jade pli image.
At the moment I?m just trying to set up the system to receive any channels, once I?ve achieved that, then figure how to modify the image with Ccams, c-line, to c/s. It may sound like I know what I?m talking about, I don?t. But I used to do the cable scene stuff, so I?ve have an idea of what going on, although this is much more complicated.
Anyway, after flashing the box, I?ve been trying to get the Dm500 to receive a signal and set-up the motordish.
I?ve set the motor to 0 degrees , pretty sure I?ve got the angle right and set it facing south.
Now this is me ?hoping? more than any thing else, but I thought that I could go into the dream menu and hit a set up button and the dish would auto find the satellites?. Yeah, right !!? I?ve been up and down the menu and it just doesn?t make sence?
Anyway more reading later, I?ve read delete all the satellites and just save the ones you want? That sort of sounds alright, but what one?s would I save??
I appreciate that I may have this the wrong way round or doing something fundamentally wrong.
Don?t wanna be spoon fed, but would appreciate if some kind person (crawl, crawl) could point me in the right direction of a ?Top Post ? that will help sort me out.
