I forgot my ipod touch password?!?

i have forgotten it before and i restored it on itunes. its synced to my computer.
I tried to restore it today and it said its not eligible...

Put your iPod touch into DFU mode(use YouTube for "HowTo") and restore

You could search this forum for a guide I posted about dfu when it first started!, or hold power and home button together for 10 seconds then let go of power while still holding home for a further 30 seconds. Do while plugged in to pc
