Hi guys!

A BOSCH 0281 010 811 was lost by one of my customers, I don't know how and when :bandit:

The ECU is from a LAND ROVER FREELANDER TD4 2.0TD, I made a mistake on the post's title.

Anyways I've found another ECU on a wreckyard with same part number.

Is it possible to virginise it so the main dealer can syncronise it without problems? I only have the ECU and the car is not here, so I can't do any alignments.

Or it can be aligned without taking it to stealer? Wich modules I need?

I'm attaching the 5P08C3 dump from the DDE4, just in case.

Any suggestions?

I've been trying with BMW IMMO EDITOR, can someone confirm if it's ok to sync?

I've found 1 ECU behind the dash, it's very small, I don't think it's the EWS, it has one PIC18F252 inside, seems the anti-theft module...

bmw is located in the steering column

in ews 3 ecu inside is HC11 mask 0D46J
in ews 4 ecu is MC9S12 2L86D (secured)

Thats the unit in the freelander it called a SAWDOC and it replaces the EWS.......good luck altering anything in there!!!

Did you managed to start car?

I did that model with INPA sync ISN .

Only you need to connect on EOBD L -line that is not on pin 8 (bmw) I think is pin 12 or 13. Then just sync it with Inpa .
Above is file ready for sync.

Thanks immokill, I'll send the ECU to customer, he's far from me, so he'll take the car to dealer and sync it with original diagnostics from land rover, we'll give it a try or wait a virgin dump for the ECU.

Not yet Pierre, customer does not want to take the car to dealer, and he's seeking for a complete set of ECU + dash + immo. :(

Don't know really, this immo system is unknown for me, just trying to get the most pieces to avoid having an incomplete set :driver:
