Corel VideoStudio Pro X4 2012 - TopTenREVIEWS (http://video-editing-software-review.toptenreviews.com/videostudio-review.html)

I use an earlier version. It's quick and simple without too many whistles and bells.

Freemake Video converter will do it, and 1000's of other things.

It's totally FREE so no dodgy serials or cracks.

It will take any video format cut & join to any other format and out put in any format you want, even DVD with menu. It's quicker and better than convertXtoDVD.

It will also download and convert videos from tons of websites like youtube.
