4E28B (68HC11E9) read with UPA ?

I have an MB W210 E-Class ECU.. I lifted pin-17(RESET) and pin-20(RX) then tried read but I didnt.. It gives this error "Device not respond"..

How can I read 4E28B (68HC11E9) with UPA or Can UPA read this MCU ?

Just take Chip off then read , I do plenty of them and had no problem. PS!! You wasting time reading inline take it off and read 10min job if you know what your doing:bounce:

Upa read this chip wuih no problem just 5 minutes job
123 gnd
17 - reset
20 - RxD cut
21 - Txd cut
26 - 5+
Change oscilator to 8000 or 7800

for read with upa you need lift pins 2, 17, 20, 21 and select oscilator 8 Mhz.

I tried eveything from the thread but still device not respond..

I tried to read much.. may software have been deleted ?

what is the stat from them?
put a picture from the conecton from the UPA to see the voltage.

hello yes you should read on board and pls post the connection diagram u r using it

I read finally..

I lifted 17,20 and 21.. After I selected MC68HC11E9-old..

Connection :

Pin-01 - GND
Pin-02 - GND
Pin-17 - RESET (Lift)
Pin-20 - RXD (Lift)
Pin-21 - TXD (Lift)
Pin-26 - VDD

Oscillator - AUTO

Don't connect MODA !!!
