hi guys ive put various post now regarding downgrading my ps3 fat thats running firmware 4.00 and i want to downgrade to 3.55 as im told i cannot run multiman on 4.00 in order to play my ps3 games backed up on external hd
the thing is im told i cant do this via usb and need to strip the ps3 for e3 flasher but dont want to do this its frustrating as i done my wii via external hd if this cant be done on ps3 on 4.00 please tell me as i dont want to end up bricking the ps3 :proud:

you will not brick it just follow the guides and with e3 there is no soldering

other advice is to sell console and buy one which is on 3.55 or before ....simple

or e3 flasher and dual boot
