Hi,
So, Long story short.
Bought spare ECU from other car and tested some flash equipment+software.
Galletto 1260 was OK for flashing and reading.
MPPS 3.0.2.37 Does not recognize ECU? Found this wierd since the adapter works and is OK in software...
Is there something wrong with MPPS older versions and ME7.2 BMW?
Now, "Flashed" accidentally .Bin with no checksum correction to spare ECU. ECU is empty and does not communicate with anything.
Can this be saved with benchflash (Galletto/MPPS) or do I need to solder the eeprom and use some programmer?
What is easyest procedure?
Galletto reads only 64kb map files..used galletto when Bricked the spare ecu.
Also Can I clone the original ECU and EWS info with some tools?(Read the EWS 3.3 thread allready so virgin files to ECU needs hard programmer/soldering work?)
Main interest would be to virginize the spare ECU.
I don't have full flash from eather ecu..only the Galletto 64kb file versions.
Original ECU is still OK :).
Anyone have virgin dump?

PS: How about getting a full memory dump with galletto(also have kwp2000+)? Can this be done with ME7.2 thru OBD port?
