Pin in Cluster

Do you believe that if I make immo off I will be able to make the car start? Because diesel pump was replaced by another refurbished and now the car won't start. And I canīt real the pin in the cluster because I believe the make is in immo box, The cluster is UN, I believe, I'm sure it is not VDO

Many thanks

I think for those vag 2.5tdi with married pump you need immo off in eep and flash (both).

Hi. Use the info from post #11. I have had already a dispute on dkk on how to make immo off and the solution is in flash. That is for sure, but if you get the skc from clusters, programming will be easy.

Enter the channel 25 with Vag Com and see what serial number you find, search this on Google and see if it's immo box

If is MY`99, might not need pump programming. Just the same series and plug and play. But sice he is asking that in his first post, that might need pump programming

Yes, the pump was replaced by one refurbished by Bosch, Virgin, but since it is a late one, the guy from Bosch told me that I need to make the Ross Tech procedure and login in the engine, but someone told me that the eeprom 24C02 doesn't have code

I will try to read the 93C56 eeprom from the speedo and find the code. My question is: Can I make login in Engine with the dash code?

Dash code gives access for proogramming in ecu. Just follow the proceduure from Rostech, with vcds and will be simple.

I'm very frustrated. I've read the speedo eeprom 93C56 and the code is 6413 or 1364. The car is Audi A6 2.5 TDI from 4.1999, with analogue instrument cluster and with ECU 4B0 907 401H D33.A, Bosch 0281 001 781 from 06.04.1998. As far as comeone how help me in this great forum, the ECU eeprom doesn't have code. So I read 93C56 and I get the code 6413 or 1364. Neither of this SKC work to make login in the Engine, as per Ross Tech instructions in order to match the diesel Pump
Can someone tell me if I'm doing something wrong and/or if the eeprom read on the speedo 4B0 919 860E UN (not VDO) is not corrupted? And also the ECU eeprom, please?

Thanks in advance

Your ipc read is incomplete. Read it x16
The same with ecu eep. What tool did you use to read this eep?

karl Martin

I've read both with original Carprog.
Is it possible to replace the cluster eeprom with another good eeprom? Because I'm afraid that I can't get the original, because it was read, and the chip were completly blank, then the eeprom was write again.
I don't know the make of the clutser. I know it is not VDO, and the back cage is white. I believe that it is UN. Does this make any sense?
Thanks for your help

It wasn't blank, was a loose connection on the socket you have reading with, or bad read, or no voltage supply on that eep when you read it.

I will lather tonight the eeprom. But I believe that I've managed to re-write the eeprom. But my question is if the eeprom is corrupted, can I write another eeprom for that dash? Because I can't be sure that the file is not damaged. My only question is if it must be the orifinal file. In this case I'm screwed.
To read ECU eeprom labed B58253, Iīve read it as 24C02. Have I done something wrong?
I don't know what else to do. I've even replaced the cluster with another one with digital clocks from 2000 and rewire just the k line wire and I've managed to match the key. But with this new code I couldn't make login in ECI in order to program the diesel pump. So my options right now is just to rematcha the old cluster, something that yesterday I couldn't do it. This bring me to the question: If I rewrite a new eeprom, from another dash, will this work, or it must be the original eep?

Thanks for your precious help. I don't know what else to do

Usually, i amm changing froom the start the eep with a new one when writing another eep. B58 series seems to be like OTP ones, so I have a bunch of new eeps from a good source.

karl Martin

Can you share one eep from a good source? Then I have to match the dash right?
Do you know if I can also rewrite a new eep to the dash 4B0919860E, UN?

Thanks for all your help

Thanks for your great help

I can assure that the immo off solution only in eeprom works for Adi A6 C5 2.5 diesel from 4.1999, with ECU 4B0 907 401H.
Problem solved.
Again thanks

About the dash it is not finished. Do you know if I can write another eep from one dash with the same part number?
