Hello peeps
Im looking at moving to Suffolk and wonder if any of you that live there can tell me the best areas to live.
Im looking for somewhere quite in a village with plenty of fields etc.
Today we went to Woodbridge which looked very nice and also Aldeburgh near the see front.
Any help would be very nice as ths area is very new to me and dont want to wind up in a not so nice part.
Cheers
Adam

Avoid Haverhill. never seen so many cop cars in all my life. Its rough and has major drug problems from what I gather. Rest of Suffolk is lovely what what I seen. Just lots of nice quint villages everywhere. Guess you can take you pick Adam. Nice people to on the most part, not like around where I live.

Why not move to Luton, your commute will more than halve and it will be just like moving abroad, in fact you will hardly here an english voice.

most of suffolk is ok but if you are traveling to London by trian daily the east suffolk line to lowestoft does not have many trians so you would be best to get near the main line from Norwich to London say Eye area then get on at Diss You looked at very expensive for suffolk , but I like Woodbridge, Aldleburgh and Southwold.I live about 5 miles from Southwold
PLaces in my opinion to avoid would be parts of Lowestoft and parts of Ipswich The small market town I live in has in the last few years been made into Gods waiting room with a lot of retired people moving in from south essex who can not afford Southwold so we are next best thing. Adam I am pretty sure you will not regret moving up here but dont expect all the things you have in essex its a bit slower way of life

use to go to Worlingworth in my misspent youth went to the swan pub and nearby Debenham but that was 40 odd years ago. From what I have been told it still is a nice village. Not to bad to get to london from there just onto A140 with all its speed limits then A14 A12 can be a bit slow around copdock interchange but not too bad
