Hi guys, not my usual line of work but needs must!

I have to correct the mileage on an Toyota 08 Hiace (also known as a Commuter, Regius Ace, Ses'fikile, Quantum, Ventury, Higer, Jinbei or Rely).

From what I can gather it's IC3 93c56.
Is there a way to read this without removing the IC?
I don't want to disturb the blue glue on the chip.

The Dash is a Yazaki 769237-841H.

This cluster has no back connection mate, you really need to removed those needles
but if your problem is just dont want to remove the blue varnish in IC you can connect the wire in programming pad

Regular yazaki pad (Pin : 1,2,3,4,8,5)

by the way that blue chemical that put in IC is just the blue PVC cement that also use in blue PVC water pipes (S-blue)

use IPA to clean the blue stuff

short oscilator and clip to chip mate

Thanks for the help guys and girls.

I tried to change the Mileage from 125965 to 105965 but no luck (got 387731).

I used...

Car type: Toyota Hiace - 93c56 - 2008 year
The mileage is stored in the next lines:
0000: FA 16 FA 16 FA 16 FA 16 FA 16 FA 16 FA 16 FA 16
0010: FA 16 FA 16 FA 16 FA 16 FA 16 FA 16 FA 16 FA 16
0020: FA 16 FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF
0030: FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF
0040: FF FF FF FF xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx
where the next bytes:
FA 16 - is a mileage

My dump looks similar to above but has two different things going on it, not one.

Any help would be appreciated.
(KM's not Miles please)

Doesn't matter if you have 2 things going on in your dump, you can follow tachosoft's calculation and you'll get your desired km more or less, but it wouldn't be precise to the last 1km. Here's some reference.
