Anybody know anything about Zopa Personal Loans as i'm trying to sort out a loan and was wondering how good these are as they give a good rate ?4000 over 3 years ?125.00 a month, roughly about 550.00 interest to pay back.

They're a curious setup, seems like they're middle men for ordinary folk lending their personal savings to borrowers..

you should get for less at your bank. but dont buy what you cant afford, best thing is to save. only ever had one debt, bloody mortgage, dont want anymore than that

You can get ?4000 without securities if you are working and apply for credit cards instead of taking risk with your wife and children!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Credit union is the way for a cheap loan- They are popping up everywhere in these harsh times. I got a 1000 pound loan paid back over a year and interest was 50 quid.

Also why not look at a credit card. Look at Martin Lewis site, moneysavingexpert. Some good deals now, 18 months interest free on spending, just make sure you can pay off in that time
