Hi, where can I buy BDM 143.L probe? is it compatible to BDM100 clon? Will it work? I found one here:
Tuningfiles - BDM143.L Probe for all Bosch ECUs - all for tuning! (http://www.tuningfiles.com/probe-for-all-bosch-ecus.html)

It?s 115? for modul and 40? for postage. Can somebody sell me similar modul cheaper? or does anybody have any idea, how to read EDC16 via BDM clon? Thanks a lot.

Thanks, nice, but probably I need complete modul 143.L for bosch Ecus, not truth? I have no wiring diagram how to connect it :bawling:. I have BDM100 from ebay. Or if you have some advice how to use this clon for EDC16, I***314;l be very glad. I have flashed it via OBD, but now I have communication error, maybe bad flash and I need to write it via BDM. Thanks a lot. My car runs not and I need it, please....

Does this need to be modded to do EDC16?

Does it need no modification?? Only connecting to cable? Really? I have read, that BOSCH ECU needs lower voltage, than 12V. If I connect it directly, will it be not damaged? And shoul I connect ECU pins to +12V, or not? Sorry for plenty of questions, but I am depressed of it. Car doesn?t run and I have probably all tool to write it and I don?t know how. Spring connector I allready have. Thanks for advices, friends. I never read/write ECU by BDM.
I found this video - should I connect it in this way?

for bosch edc16 pin assigment is same as on bdm box so no need for adapter, you just need to connect it right way best to mesure +12 with voltmeter when pressng ON in software an here click so you are shure, becose on some bdm100 clones connector is inverted.
no need to connect power supply to ecu pins, only to bdm box (I got 12v adapter with my clone)

What's weird though is that the BDM 100 I bought off ebay has no way to connect the cable to the adapters. The adapters have sockets and the cable is a socket. Do I need to buy that spring loaded probe from ebay to use my BDM 100?

Did you try it? I`m about buy BDM100, and so I wonder what probe to buy. EDC16 or this 12pin, second one is less then half the price of the first one :)

As I understand soldering is involved in order to connect the 12pin probe, so the cable connector will be damaged (and will not be able to use the other probes in future).
