i mean if i take the chiop out the progger aint even detecting this ?!?!

like i say it will do m35080 just fine

Check again, 35080 has gnd on pin 1. 25/95 has gnd on pin 4, also 35080 uses 7 connections and the 25/95 uses 8. Cannot be the same wire up! Arthur.

Just a little clue, click on help/contents in the program window and you will find all the wire ups you will ever need. Arthur.

im making my soic test clip to go directly into the UPA for M35080 but attaching the extra wire thats not used to pin 8 as that is used for both 93c and 95/25 so i can make 2 adapters up for them :)

Glad to heard you are in action with your UPA now. One thing I would suggest is, as you will be reading most eeproms off the board, a zif socket is a far safer option to a soic clip for reading and writing. Soic clips are renowned for firing eeproms into orbit. Arthur.

I think upa users need to buy a full set of adapters to enable reading eeproms on board.
For the price paid, it would save $$$$$?????? in time and tears!

Captain Crackers sells them. I know he is too modest to say it on here!
