Dodge code p1697 after udjustment

Hi everyone,
Car is US Dodge Durango 05. Dash km was done OK.
Mileage is also stored in engine controller SRI.
I reset it with Lauch Master x431 - it had an option to change.
After it read mileage around 0 km.

but now:
code "p1697 PCM Failure SRI Mile Not Stored"

This probably is the result of a flash interruption - launch couldn't successfully write new km.
How to go about fixing this? I don't have flashing capabilities for chryslers.

I don't know the cheapest solution but if you have access to one of these you can do this job:

- AVDI Chrysler Commander
- DP3
- WiTech

Where are you located? You could always go with a Smok Chrysler tool to do the SRI which would cost few euros and let you be able to do all SRI systems in future

I've looked at smok but on their page it says still:
SRI 5 - coming soon
and that is what I need for this durango.
Unless they have it but not updated their page?

Yes OEM tool: Starscan or Witech; or non OEM such as Jprog.

Thanks Speedosoft, I'd love a Jprog but it's pricey for just an SRI, not enough work here to buy another expensive tool.
