Citroen DS3 2011

I am trying to do a DS3 tonight, km must go up. People told me only the cluster is needed. I tried to do the BSI first with smok PSA, Smok readed Valeo BSI ok, I wanted to make a backup of the BSI first. It went all ok flash backupped. Then I tried to raise the km of the BSI with smok. I got write failure. The car started fine afterwards so no big deal. I tried again and now I can not acces the BSI anymore with Smok???? So I programmed the dash on a higher value, guess what? The km is still the same, no errors and the car starts??? I did a C3 2010 simular car last week and all went fine, but I did the BSI (with Smok) and dash manually. If I do the BSI manually will the dash take over? I don't like to do the dash again, not a very nice job to do.

yes mate the dash should take higher.

happen to me before on a c4. you will get the old value in display but put ignition and cut it for about 20 min , re put ignition you will find new value

Thanks mate, I disconnected/connected the battery and now all ok. Strange I still can not acces the BSI with Smok anymore. I will sent the logfile to him. My script works spot on. Original km was 965km now 6500km.

No the algo is easy it is tricky to open the dash, LCD flatcable is fragile, and right/middle needles are not very easy to remove. The new C3 is a bit easier, you will notice.

Smok apologized me for the bug, he solved it now. I have sent him the whole flash, he copied my flash into a simular BSI, he found the bug changed it, changing km is now even faster. You can update Smok PSA to V1.15 from the website or through the software (TAB tools).

What model of Bsi does it have? i have problems with Citroen C3 Aircross Latin American and also have Smok.

I am not at home right now but it was Valeo, must be 24C128. Did you updated and tried again? If yes and it is still not working sent him the complete flash dump (not eprom) and he will sort it. (www.diagcar.pl (http://www.diagcar.pl))

Had this problem on dp3 with 24c128 on 207 with dp3 i programmed bsi with 1000 miles then re read eeprom and programmed with desired miles worked fine dont know why but it did
