Looking for some ideas or to see if anyone had this problem.

My mate has had a nightmare with his SE, he on his 3rd now.

The box boots fine and works etc etc but when going to flash the new image and he goes to put the box in STOP the ip is showing as 10.0.0.16

Now if the box boots it will get the router to assign an IP ?????

Now he tried a few other ways to flash with dreamup etc and the pc just locks up.

I dont have the box to try so only going on his comments so far.

Anyone tried to flash the box using the tool with Tspanel ?

Hi Rodbouy,

I too had much difficulty in re-flashing.

Searched the web and found this. Worked a treat.

Here is the files needed to flash your DM800SE.

Second Stage Bootloader
http://hotfile.com/dl/124063258/8165...10620.nfi.html (http://hotfile.com/dl/124063258/816588c/sim2SE_SSL82_110620.nfi.html) -

Flashing Tool
sunray-flashup.rar - 4shared.com - online file sharing and storage - download (http://www.4shared.com/file/ToeEdW02/SUNRAY-FlashUP.htm)

Images for DM800SE found:
Forum Gateway - Sat Universe (http://www.sat-universe.com/forumdisplay.php?f=486)

How To:

1. Open Sunray Flasher and connect the Mini USB Cable. Power on the box. Flash the Second Stage Bootloaderfile.
2. Turn off Dreambox and hold the front Standby button and power on. Open Internet Explorer and type in the DHCP IP (Firefox 4 browser won't work). Select the image you want to flash and flash it. Reboot.
3. Repeat Step 1.
4. Your done.

notes: If you don't get a DHCP IP, put your router IP to 192.168.0.1. if the Image you flashed gives error either, hardware or tuner try a new image.
if the computer does not detect the Dreambox with the usb cable install these drivers DRIVERS (http://goo.gl/tVybT)
