I'm having an issue reading and writing to a M93C66. I get all 0's from the dump. It's a 2003 Honda Accord airbag module

Then I try to write on it and I get a buffer error...

I popped out a M93C56 from a crapped Honda accord cluster just to try out on the Xprog and it read and wrote to it just fine.

I did some searching about write errors and only found write errors with the blue circuit board. I have the green board and very very well built.

Edit: Sorry the pic is upside down. I don't know why my BB does that at times.

What numbers are written on top of the eeprom?

It looks like it says ...
S330
DV2X
6447

So its a ST M93C66?

It's an airbag module from a 2003 Honda Accord

Maybe try it using microchip 93xx66B option in xprog

Thanks so much guys but I give up. The damn thing just won't work no matter what. I tried several suggestions found here on the site and I still get all 0's on the read and can't write to it. I checked my pins and all is fine. I simply give up on this one.

I found another ST chip here. LM358N and I get all 0's as well with no write success.

Frend COZZ LM358 is dual operation amplifier not eeprom so you can not readed by any programmer

So if you can not read your s330 chip whi you not buy new chip 93c66 from local shop and programit wit god dump withowt crash data for your airbag modul and don.
Thancks
Stefan

p.s MI opinion is that UPA is bether for reading and writing of MICROWIRE eeproms

Thanks mate for the info.

I would like to replace the chip but the owner needs the module back today. It was well worth a try though. Someone has tried before to program it before me so maybe yeah the chip is bad. I just wish I had more time with it.

Thanks again guys
