Smelecom DSP III Users please

Hello guys,
Has anyone done an E90 Cas3 by obd, using this tool ?
I have to do one tomorrow, and not sure If I should take it out or go obd. A bit scared of obd as I haven't tried it on this car first, yet it is very tempting... Please let me know of your experience
Also can DSP III clear DTC afterwards ?

In DP3, if CAS interrupt the process stops. Then you must manually fix the file. If DSP III is the same principle boldly go if anything happens then it will adjust.

i have done few with it cas2/ 3 seem ok cas 3+ either via dash plug or need to go direct find it not a bad tool
other than the wiring colours being mad works really well
especially on vw diag which was the main thing i bought it for
personally i prefer to go direct call me old fashioned never had any problems going direct had a couple with other tools luckily going direct usually cures it good luck

its not the must steady tool for cas obd, it does i'd say 70% of cas3, 90% cas2 and a few cas3 + not many, i used to use it for cas's often, if it doesnt work it doesnt damage them.
