Hey all,

Does anyone have the correct diagram to connect up a w211 hc12/st12 ezs I. The bench to test keys?

I tried the ak400 manual but it doesn't work.

I saw a picture someone posted with the connections but I can't find it!

Any help!

Easy.

http://www.uobd2.com/upload/pro/ak400-manual.pdf

follow diagram in this manual but put power (12v+) to the pin missing a wire in the ESL plug

just 3 wires, Gnd +12 and K-line.
Don't forget power to ESL or emulator.
Pcb down, plugs UP, top left pin is pin 1=K-line, pin 2=Gnd, pin3=+12.

Here is the solution.
I got it from tomaszcz (http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/members/121035-tomaszcz/) in a previous DK thread

Can I test the programmed keys on the EIS without the ESL?
because from some threads it seems like one can program the keys with just the data read from EIS eeprom

Then to unlock the ESL one just have to renew the eeprom inside using a tool like Ak400

Am I wrong?

if no then, I dont need 3 wires to test the keys against EIS. I just 2: +12V and -, as the K line is to be connected to ESL.

Confirm or correct please
