I bought and it does not work with my 2003 VW New Beetle TDI, and I am not able to update it either.

Use VCDS for VW and Audi. That's a lot more reliable.

Thank you oldford, I am planing to buy a vas5054a from China. I found most people use it, it works fine with most VW Audi cars models, more importantly, works with my car. :champions:

It used to need to register and need license key, now it need not.
