Hi m8's

Having problems with a setup on cupra tdi, race nozles 783 , EGR elemination pipe and 2260v turbo.
Car at idle smokes white, when hot very dificult to start.
Car from 1500rpm to 3000rpm is like a natural aspirated car, lots of smoke and doesn't run, after 3000rpm turbo boosts till +/- 5000rpm 2.5Bar.

Any one can help me out? tested the injectors on other cupra and behaviour is normal.
Could this be the remap with some problems? could it be the turbo not giving enough power at lower rpm?

any ideas or help apreciated.

regards

First guess without details is injection time/fuel maps. Did this happen after chiptuning? Post you tuning file in the chiptuning section so someone will tell you what he thinks this tuning is worth.

my guess with no info
usualy wen white smoke apears it could be turbo is dead
or not enough diesel injection and too much air in the combustion mix as opposite of the black smoke where
you have too much diesel in the mix and not enough air.
did you do the tune by youselve
post your file so people here on DK can check it

White smoke is unburnt diesel so it must be pumping in to much at low RPM, when you say:

"Car from 1500rpm to 3000rpm is like a natural aspirated car, lots of smoke and doesn't run"

What colour is the smoke, white as well ???

Ok Liteace,

I might be explaining wrong.
1- at idle car smokes white, when accelerate till 2000/2500rpm continues smoke white and car sounds as misfire.
2- when car is on road from 1500rpm till 3000rpm car smokes black and is as turbo is dead, from 3000rpm car doesnt smoke and drives well.

thanks

So if you have white smoke from idle to 2500 when the engine is not under loads then its not burning the fuel the white smoke is unburnt diesel, when the car is driving, engine under load from 1500 > 3000 the black smoke is caused by over overfueling so agin pumping in a bit to much, connect a boost gauge and give it a drive and have a look at what boost you have under 3000 rpm also check MAP sensor is connected on doing its job

Boost Gauge installed in car between 2000rpm till 3000rpm max boost is 0.7bar, from 3000 till +/-4500rpm car does 1.8bar.
I think maybe somthing wron with turbo because at lower rpm should be doing a lot more pressure.
Tried with a new original map sensor , results are always the same.

Running out of options : (

Just tried out on other cupra tdi , all original only with remap, i put the gt2260v and white smoke continues at idle, this car is all original only with remap.
While driving white smoke disapears substituted by black smoke and till +/3000rpm turbo does 0.7bar pressure after 3000rpm turbo boosts to 2bar.
This must be something wrong with Turbo??
Also tried direct vacume on actuator to keep geometry closed and car max boost till 3000rpm is 0.7Bar

Any ideas apreciated.
