Is there any trick to program just one key when working with ford IDS/vcm clone?
Tipical scenario.... PCM goes bad and replaced with second hand (used) PCM.
The way sometimes worked fo me was just having another key with the same pats version and then wrapping up the original key when turning the ignition to ON. The second "fake key" is just close to the antenna ring to let the pats pick up the signal from.
Of course the original key for the replacement PCM is never an option...
So what are my options?
ERASE ALL KEYS?
ADD KEY?
ALLOW CUSTOMER SPARE KEY PROGRAMMING?
OR WHAT ????
Thanks!!
