can u please provide more info here , what processor is having ur laptop is it Intel or AMD

Stop leaving it on soft surfaces like end of fabric couch, bed, carpet etc as its most probably a chocked up fan.
Either open it up and give it a good clean or try blow the dust thats stuck in side it out.

Buy a cheap cooler pad anyway the system fan is less stressed it cheaper to cool the laptop that way than let the probably underpowered system fan fail !! I find that safekom on ebay are cheap and quick ?6 with usb port built in ;-)
