can someone help me i have a dell laptop 1545 and i have manually taken files of it because it is ramed with crap and runs slow and crashes all the time but in removing files i have removed inportant ones and now i have deceided to restore my entire computer . i put my reinstall disk that comes with the computer and wait for it to load then go to repair computer then down to windows complete pc restore then click on that .
a warning sign comes up saying a valid backup could not be found .
windows can not find a backup on this computer ? and then tells me to insert a back up hard disk or insert final dvd from back up set but i don't have any of them i only have reinstallation dvd and drivers and utilities disk and i have tryed them both but it did not work
where do i go from here

If you deleated files they should still be in the recycle bin unless they were quite large or you emptied it. Take a look and try to restore them.

Does the reinstall have an option to bypass the backup?

managed to get a recovery disc but now the computer is just saving everything in recovery hard drive instead of using the main hard drive witch has 200gig spare so how do i get everything that i need to download to go to main os hard drive instead of recovery hard disk

You need to save your backup to a usb drive. you can't save it to the OS partition because when you do a restore, it will format the drive and put it back the same as when new.
