1995 Mercedes C180 Immo Problem

Hi,
This is a '95 C180 with IR type Immo system. It has a Siemens ECU, part number 5WK9124. This is a PMS Ecu.

The key works fine, opens the doors and the green light comes on but there is no Can communication between the Ecu and the IFZ, I have checked wiring and can confirm the IFZ is dead.

Does anyone know if there is any possibility of immo off on this system? Maybe with an emulator?

AS I KNOW THEY ARE IS NO IMMO OFF FOR THIS ECU,THEY REPAIR ONLY IN LONDON.BUT START PROBLEM IS NOT CAUSE THE IMMO, IS THE ECU PROBLEM.IFZ IS POSIBLE TO VIRZINIZE AND RECODE WITH STAR.POST FILE IF YOU WANT??

Thanks for the reply. The Ecu reports a fault for IFZ can signal short to b+. I have isolated the wiring and tried a second Ecu which has the same fault.

I'm pretty sure it is an IFZ fault and I don't think a dump will fix it. I believe it should be possible to emulate the IFZ but don't know how.
