hi i have a 1999 ford cougar with 2.5 v6 immobiliser light goes off then coms straight back on and will not turn over does anyone have a known bypass or fix for this

have you checked the chip in the key to see if it is ok i had a fiesta a few weeks ago that the chip went dodgy some times it worked sometimes not i reset the immo and cycled new keys in and it was sweet
