FRIGHTENING MESSAGE

I am trying toi tune in my eurovox and on my channel 51 I got a black and yellow screen saying

''you are trying to tune in to Virgin media services with an unauthorised box--this is illegal'' etc etc.

How did they know???

I have disconnected until I know what is going on

Can anyone advise what has happened
