2008 1.2 petrol corsa d , car not starting car with spanner light constanlty flashing,
someone has already had a go at this car , from what i know ,
one morning car no starting. then had key reprogrammed and still the same.
then diag done , in ecu faults where wrong identifier from bcm wrong key transponder.
it has had ecu reset and the reprogrammed,
then it has had bcm reset and reprogrammed.
now it has above faults and basically all immobiliser items have wrong identifier faults.
so where to start with this ?
any ideas or any one have a guide to fully reset the whole system?
thanks in advance.
ps i was thinking , reset bcm then rest ecu then reset clocks, then rest airbag ecu , then programme brand new key any thoughts? (is key a id46) chhers again

Is your bcm,ecu etc all accept pin?? If so your good to go, DONT forget to code the sdm (airbag module) in as it looks in the system for the module, if its not programmed in the car WONT start and you still get car/spanner light, if your using op com you will need to disconnect battery count to ten slowly and re connect after youve pressed program in the sdm(with my op com i do anyway), leave the programming of the sdm till last, also MAKE SURE youve got a good battery or you might aswell forget it,
And mondis is correct, if you got tech 2 get update for bcm, these bcm are a waste of space and get corrupt so easy with low battery and spike
IRONJOE posted this on the subject too "This is a common problem with the corsa d,all you have to do is reset/reprogram bcm, dont reset ecu and bcm otherwise new keys required"
