1996 seat cordoba ecu location ?

hi

i just recieved my wellem eeprom programmer today so i can read the eeprom in a 1996 seat cordoba
does anyone know where the ecu is located

its a 4 cyl petrol motor

the wiring goes thru behind heater unit but then cant see if from there

do i have to remove half the dash to get to it

thanks for that i went all under dash and couldnt find anything
will go back tomorrow and get it so i can find what chip inside i have to read

hi ovi do u know much about these ecus as i cant find a small chip and i need to try to immo off for this seat
i found the ecu under the front plastic cover but on opposite side to where no 5 is on yr diagram
looked inside and the board has all big long chips no small 8 pin chips

try to see wath caind of eeprom its inside,reed and post your dump,i guess that 8 legs its the eeprom,reed and post your dump

The immo content is on the UV erasable memory in the ECU.

Make the immo off from the immo box. Read the HC05 from the immo box. Change the adress #99 value to 00, #9A value to AA, #9b value to AA, and disconnect the immo ring.
