I dont really mind about budget i mean about ?200 is ok, yeah i would like to have a web browser and play flash websites on it, play movies not into streaming from or to a pc, mkv, avi, iso all the main file formats would be good. Internal 3.5 hdd media player because i already hae a spare 500gb 3.5 hdd so i just need the enclosure media player. But if i could boot windows on it aswel that would be great i did see somthing called a xtreamer ultra for about ?230 it boots windows 7 and linux and acts as a full media centre

You could get a Sumvision Cyclone Micro 3 costs ?35, and stick any external hard drive on it.
Plays everything you can chuck at it from SD right upto 1080p, even full blu-ray 50gb M2TS files.
Has 8gb built-in, as well as a memory card reader. It reads NTFS external hard drives, so no problems with files over 4gb.

Thanks for that, i did have a read of your review not long ago and it put me off buying that one from maplins because it had no iplayer etc its hard to get a decent media player that has everything inside it like android os and flash and iplayer and even be able to watch movies through websites
